Behind The Brand: An avid Francophile and gourmet, Karen Pevenstein knew she needed to share her tasteful discovery at a Parisian food fair with the other side of the pond. As the exclusive U.S. distributor of Morel et Le Chantou, she imports their French salts, from Guérande, Brittany, utilizing traditional salt farming methods. Salt is hand-harvested during the season from June to September. Their innovative operations serve to preserve the local ecosystem of the Més Basin.
